While he had to take over management tasks he never lost the contact to the underlying technology. He is familiar with the network infrastructure just as well as with all upcoming software technologies and likes to work as a coder as well. He discovered Joomla! in 2007 and is enthusiastic of the advancement of version 1.5. He uses Joomla! as a framework for customized web-based applications and as a common base for Intranet solutions.

His vision of Joomla! is to drive the project forwards towards an stable product observed as framework for business projects. Currently he is working as a consultant for Internet technology and telecommunications industries (www.dinovis.de).

In his free time he likes to play around with Joomla! and Android, also an Open Source Project, to create mobile internet services. Wolfgang is married and has two children. He is living in Feucht, a nice place outside of Nuremberg, Germany.
